Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms of Use ("Terms"), the following definitions apply:

TermMeaning
ConnectorThe remote MCP server endpoint at https://mcp.soken.dev/mcp through which the Service is accessed.
Published ReportA Report that has been published to our public report library with the Requester's explicit consent.
ReportThe PDF document and hosted review page produced by the Service in respect of a Target.
RequesterAny person or entity that initiates or conducts a review through the Service. References to "you" and "your" are references to the Requester.
ServiceThe SOKEN Contract Review service, an automated smart contract security review tool operated by SOKEN LTD and accessed through the Connector.
SOKEN LTD, we, us, ourSOKEN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15253906, whose registered office is at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.
TargetThe smart contract code submitted for review, identified by a deployed contract address and blockchain network, a code repository and commit, or uploaded source files.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms. Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.

2. The Service

  1. The Service is an automated security review of smart contract source code. It accepts a Target (a deployed contract address and chain, a repository and commit, source files, or an uploaded archive), builds the code in a sandboxed environment, runs static analysis, and produces a Report.
  2. No person at SOKEN LTD reads the code or the findings before a Report is issued. Findings are written by the Requester's own AI client session and checked against automated rules only. SOKEN LTD has not confirmed, endorsed or verified any individual finding.
  3. The Report states on its cover and in its disclaimer that it is an automated review.
  4. The Service is separate from the paid audit, development and consulting services described at soken.dev. Those services are governed by the Terms and Conditions published at soken.dev/terms-and-condition.html and by the applicable Statement of Work. These Terms apply exclusively to the Service accessed through the Connector. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the website Terms and Conditions regarding the Service, these Terms prevail.

3. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Service.

4. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service.
  2. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and references to "you" shall include that entity.

5. Acceptable Use

  1. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, you shall:
    1. review only code you are entitled to review, or code that is publicly available;
    2. submit only one Target per review job;
    3. not use the Service to discover or exploit vulnerabilities in deployed contracts for the purpose of attacking them, draining funds, or causing harm to their users;
    4. not submit batch requests, sweep multiple addresses, or automate bulk reviews beyond the stated usage limits;
    5. not attempt to bypass usage limits, inject instructions into source code to alter the review process, or interfere with the operation of the Connector;
    6. not use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Service or interfere with any other party's use of the Service.
  2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

6. Usage Limits

  1. The Service is subject to a fair-use limit of two Reports per Requester per day.
  2. For requests relayed through shared AI platform infrastructure (where individual Requesters cannot be distinguished by the Connector), the limit is applied per reviewed Target, subject to a shared daily cap for that platform.
  3. We may adjust these limits at any time. Changes will be reflected on the Connector landing page.

7. Reports

  1. A Report is the automated output of the Service. It is not a manual audit, a professional security assessment, or a certification of any kind.
  2. The Service may identify only a subset of defects present in the Target, may report defects that do not exist (false positives), and may miss defects that do exist (false negatives). A Report is not a guarantee or representation that the reviewed code is free of vulnerabilities, nor is it an endorsement of the project, its economics, or its operators.
  3. Off-chain key management, operational practices, front-end applications, economic design, and third-party protocol risk are outside the scope of any Report.
  4. Nothing in a Report or any other output of the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice. The Service does not create a fiduciary, advisory or professional relationship between SOKEN LTD and the Requester or any third party.
  5. You must not rely on the Service as a substitute for a qualified professional security audit or other professional review.

8. Publication of Reports

  1. After a Report is rendered, you may request publication by providing an explicit consent object through the designated publication tool. The consent object must contain: the name of the authorising party, the name of the authorising person, an explicit consent statement, and a timestamp.
  2. Publication is automatic and proceeds without manual review by SOKEN LTD. Published Reports are made available in our public report library at soken.dev/audits and its public mirror repository, and are labelled "Automated by SOKEN MCP".
  3. Only one Published Report is maintained per Target. If a later review of the same Target (same contract address on the same chain, or same repository) is published, it replaces the earlier Published Report rather than being added alongside it.
  4. Published Reports remain publicly accessible until removed in accordance with our Report Removal Policy. Deleting a review job does not withdraw a Published Report.
  5. The consent record (party name, authorising person, consent statement, and timestamp) is retained as a legal record and survives the deletion of the underlying review job.
  6. Before publishing any Report relating to code operated by others, you should report identified vulnerabilities privately to the code owner and allow a reasonable period for remediation.
  7. The publication model described in this section (explicit opt-in consent) applies only to the Service. For paid audit engagements conducted by SOKEN LTD, publication is governed by the engagement agreement and the Terms and Conditions at soken.dev/terms-and-condition.html.

9. Third-Party Code Reviews

  1. When you review code that you do not own, the Report is issued under a restricted profile. Under this profile, the detailed exploit narrative of any finding classified as High or Critical severity is withheld from the Report, temporary access links expire on a shortened schedule, and the Report carries a notice stating that code ownership has not been verified.
  2. These restrictions may be lifted only when the code owner proves control of the Target through the verification mechanism provided on soken.dev.
  3. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to review, and where applicable to publish a review of, any code you submit to the Service. SOKEN LTD does not verify ownership of the reviewed code.

10. Intellectual Property

  1. You retain all ownership rights in any source code you submit to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your code or the findings your AI client session produces.
  2. The Report template, fixed kit text, severity matrix, formatting, and the SOKEN LTD name and marks remain the property of SOKEN LTD.
  3. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use the trade names, trademarks, service marks, or logos of SOKEN LTD except as necessary to reference the origin of a Report.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.
  2. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, SOKEN LTD expressly disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability and non-infringement.
  3. Without limiting the foregoing, SOKEN LTD does not warrant that:
    1. the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
    2. the results obtained from the Service will be accurate, complete or reliable;
    3. any defects in the Service will be corrected.
  4. The automated nature of the Service means that Reports are generated without human review and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. No Report should be treated as a definitive statement of the security posture of any code.

12. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales:
    1. SOKEN LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any Report, however caused and whether arising under contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise;
    2. the total aggregate liability of SOKEN LTD to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100).
  2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the liability of SOKEN LTD for:
    1. death or personal injury caused by its negligence;
    2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
    3. any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SOKEN LTD, its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  1. your use of the Service in breach of these Terms;
  2. any violation of applicable law by you in connection with your use of the Service;
  3. the publication of a Report relating to code that you did not have the right to review or publish; or
  4. any claim by a third party arising from your use of the Service or any Report you have published.

14. Suspension and Termination

  1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:
    1. you have breached these Terms;
    2. your use of the Service poses a security risk to the Service or to third parties;
    3. suspension or termination is required to comply with applicable law or a court order; or
    4. continued provision of the Service to you is no longer commercially reasonable.
  2. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7 (Reports), 10 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 16 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) and 17 (General Provisions) shall survive termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

  1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will also be noted on the Connector landing page.
  2. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation.
  3. Before commencing court proceedings under this section, the parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by correspondence directed to hello@soken.dev for a period of not less than 14 days from the date a party first notifies the other in writing of the dispute.

17. General Provisions

  1. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Report Removal Policy and Responsible Disclosure Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SOKEN LTD in relation to your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings and arrangements between us, whether written or oral. For paid audit, development and consulting services provided by SOKEN LTD, the Terms and Conditions at soken.dev/terms-and-condition.html and the applicable Statement of Work apply; those documents are not superseded by these Terms.
  2. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  3. Waiver. No failure or delay by SOKEN LTD in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy. A waiver of any right or remedy on one occasion shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy on any subsequent occasion.
  4. Assignment. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
  5. Third-party rights. These Terms do not confer any rights on any person or party (other than the parties to these Terms) pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
  6. Notices. Any notice to SOKEN LTD under these Terms should be sent by email to hello@soken.dev.
  7. Language. These Terms are published in English and may be made available in other languages for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and a translation, the English version prevails.
